Rekha’s Path to Entrepreneurship

Before Joining the Program: Rekha, a 35-year-old widow, faced immense challenges after her husband’s untimely death. Left with no source of income and two young children to care for, Rekha felt overwhelmed and uncertain about the future. She had always been passionate about fashion but lacked the skills to turn her passion into a livelihood.

Transformation through Tailoring: Rekha joined the tailoring program at Life Enrichment Center Nepal in 2023. Her enthusiasm and creativity shone through as she learned various tailoring techniques. The program not only taught her technical skills but also provided business training, helping her understand the basics of running a successful enterprise.

A New Beginning: Upon graduation, Rekha launched her own boutique, specializing in traditional Nepali attire with modern twists. Her unique designs quickly gained popularity, and her boutique became a local favorite. Rekha’s business success has allowed her to provide a stable life for her children and has given her a renewed sense of purpose and pride.
